Exporting for Britain will launch at the UK Trade and Export Finance Forum hosted by UK Export Finance (UKEF) on 7th December 2021. The programme will combine key sector interviews, news items and sponsored editorial profiles and will be supported by a communications campaign targeting BExA members and beyond.
Minister for Exports, Graham Stuart MP said: “Exporting for Britain provides a great opportunity for businesses to learn about the government support available to them as we build back better from the pandemic.
As the Department for International Trade continues to sign trade deals with markets around the world, UKEF’s support will help businesses across the UK access the finance they need to take advantage of new global opportunities”.
Geoffrey de Mowbray, Co-Chairman of British Exporters Association said: “We are excited to be working with ITN productions on this programme. There is a unique opportunity in the wake of Brexit and the Covid pandemic for UK exporters to expand their business into other markets. With increased support from government, organisations like BExA and vital peer-to-peer networks there is the potential for UK Plc to achieve something quite remarkable, not only aiding our post Covid recovery, but also driving a sustainable future through trade.”
Nina Harrison-Bell, Head of ITN Productions Industry News said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with the British Exporters Association to produce a programme which helps educate, support and connect UK businesses to grow on the world stage and be at the forefront of global trade. We hope the programme will inspire businesses that don’t currently export to do so and will provide information and support for those looking to improve their export performance.”
